Caroline and Katherine Connelly ’26 are State Bound!

Caroline and Katherine Conelly are headed to the OHSAA D2 State Championship! They punched their ticket after two wins at Districts, defeating MVCA 6-0, 6-3 and then Tippecanoe 5-7, 6-2, and 7-5. They compete in the District Final on Friday, October 11. The State Championship is held on Thursday, October 16.
The twin sisters have had an impressive senior season. They finished the regular season 13-2 overall, 8-0 in the MVC, and were the #3 seed going into the tournament. They currently hold the school records for most double matches won in a career and season. Adding a State Championship to their list of accolades would be the perfect way to close the door on their CCDS tennis career. Reaching this stage is something many tennis players dream of but fall short. The Connelly's have made it, and they've left their mark on the program regardless of the results next Thursday!
