Swimming State Results

6 Nighthawks traveled to Canton last week for the OHSAA D2 Swimming State Championship. It was bittersweet as 5 of those Nighthawks concluded their CCDS swimming career. Congratulations to seniors Katherine Connelly, Delaney Gorman, Jason Starodub, Greta Varga, and Zsofia Varga on an incredible four years!

Final results from the OHSAA D2 State Championship:

Jason Starodub '26 placed 8^th in the 100 Back with a time of 52.87
Delaney Gorman '26 placed 9^th in the 100 Fly with a time of 58.74
Jason Starodub '26 placed 14^th in the 200IM with a time of 2:00.90
Delaney Gorman '26 placed 21^st in the 100 Back with a time of 1:00.76
The 400 Free Relay placed 23^rd with a time of 3:52.09
