Gymnastics Districts Results
It was a big weekend for the varsity gymnastic team as they competed in Districts on Saturday at Lakota East High School.
The team finished in 13th place with a score of 095.2750. While this is not high enough to qualify for the State meet, it is the highest team overall score in school history! That's not the only broken record, Hayden Zimmerman '26 finished 7th on the all-around with a score of 33.4500, which is the highest placing finish in the all-around in school history! Her score is also one of the top 5 scores in school history. The top 6 finishers compete in the State meet, Hayden missed the cut by .075 but she qualified as an alternative.
Several awards were received by members of the team:
- Hayden Zimmerman '26- All-District, four-year senior award
- Jessica Chen '26- Academic All-Ohio, four-year senior award
- Ann Wilson '28- CCDS sportsmanship winner
