Bio

Katie Slovacek brings her passion and knowledge to the CCDS swim program, helping athletes build a love for the sport and the water. With a particular expertise in technique, she is dedicated to developing swimmers’ skills while fostering confidence and enthusiasm both in and out of the pool. Katie has received MVC Coach of the Year honors in 2023-224 (girls) and 2024-25 (boys). She began swimming at the age of four and continued throughout her career at Cincinnati Country Day School. In high school, she was a part of three MVC Championship teams, earned Swimmer of the Year honors as a freshman, and secured First Team recognition in various events each season. Aside from coaching, she serves as an athletic assistant in the athletic department.
